As I read this post and hear the words ritual dance, my mind fills with your physical performance when you sing. Your hands and body follow similar patterns. It may be something you don’t even realize or haven’t considered. Your natural movement while performing mimics your knot paintings-your hand gestures, how you fold onto a speaker. There are straight lines, twists, folds and other forms that I can see creating a knotting. It’s pretty incredible to see the parallel.
I found it super interesting to know the vision of what these works mean. It is being able to see beyond and enter the heart and the feeling of the artist, of the work, of its essence, after reading it and seeing the paintings again I could feel the depth of the meaning of each stroke, and the symbolism of the eyes between the curves I really loved it!♥️
Philosophy in the form of poetry. Thank you for sharing deeper thoughts with the masses. This form of communication and connection is long overdue. As connected as we are on the internet, we have become more disconnected to our selves and our thoughts. This is so refreshing to be a part of. Thank you.
These words came to me last night. Stitch by stitch and thought by thought. The thread runs between my fingers. Slowly, steadily until.... ( my thoughts stopped) I was crocheting and ran into a knot. It's a lot like breathing slow and gentle with no knots and then a moment hits when it takes your breath away and everything tightens and becomes all wound up. I love these pieces of art. My favorite has to be rainy day sonata then orange tumbles west. On orange tumbles west it looks to me like a small city at the top of the painting. It's very interesting to look at paintings for a length of time to see what images show up. Rainy day sonata just pulls me in. I could stare at it for hours just like when I watch the rain run down the glass to try and figure out which way it's going to go. Crocheting is my form of meditation you could say.
Making knots into usable things. Thank you always for opening up yourself and sharing your work. I appreciate seeing it, reading it, hearing it, and feeling it!!!
Thank you so much for creating this page, and for sharing your incredible mind and stunning artwork. I was very thankful to see a new post today, as today is my Birthday, and your words speak volumes for me. You truly are an inspiration and touch so many lives in such a positive way. So again, thank you for sharing a part of yourself with us. It matters.
A beautiful explanation. Pleiadian Sex Tape is definitely one of my favorites of this collection! I love the burst of color centralized inside the black and white. I also love the chaotic type of symmetry happening too. Are some of the newer pieces such as "Heroic Dose" part of impossible knots?

These pieces are so hypnotic and beautiful. There is indeed beauty in chaos 💖 and so many layers, just like the strings that tie a knot together.
The Greeks called the practice of knot tying “kompology”. And before that the Latin word for it was “nodology”. Coincidence? I think not…
Let me confirm it :p
I've always loved your line work. Thank you for this insight, Brandon!
Sing me a lullaby! That's my personal favorite! I was always so curious why you painted knots. I totally can relate! Makes me enjoy them more now!

Beautiful Explanation!❤️
Yes, knots are great, especially during interviews. Helps the giggles release.
I’m so excited to behold what’s next!
Reading through. I still find myself borrowing lyrics.
There's no sensation to compare with this
Suspended animation, a state of bliss
Can't keep my mind from the circling sky
Tongue-tied and twisted, just an earth-bound misfit, I 🎵💘🎶
