Sorry in advance for my run-ons both in sentence and in thought.
More than I am impressed with its vast reservoir of knowledge, or enraged by its abundance of negativity and creepily accurate algorithm-driven advertising bullshit, I am captivated by the internet’s potential to be a space for genuine human connection. Most of us are sick of passively interacting with the internet as it is commonly handed to us. We gorge upon the carcass, spit it back up through shit-smelling breath to our friends by way of ego-fueled “did you knows” and “told you sos,” and hoard the leftover force-fed meat of useless information in the deep dark cavities of our brain, allowing it to rot and fester, threatening to endanger any hope of optimism or original thought we may have stored safely away as a relic of our youth. We are left malnourished and discontent; housing these maggot-infested remnants of original thought, only to return for more, more, more. When what I believe we are really craving and what elusive desire keeps us coming back for more in hopes of finding it, that which if received in its purer form would supply nourishment for our brain and feed our souls, is the universal desire for more genuine connection. More accountability. More authenticity. More of that toe curling, serendipitous feeling that happens when two sentiments meet, bursting with potential and the promise of something new, whilst on the whole shifting our collective consciousness upward and onward as we are reminded of what it means to be alive; in effect, to feel and share more love. This spiritual reminder here in fact also reads to me as a call to arms, though I feel I might be preaching to the choir. I am deeply very grateful for these posts and for those of us here sharing with each other and supporting what ultimately feels like a chance at something new. It’s been a while since I’ve been impressed with the internet. Thank you Brandon for guiding, participating in, and encouraging the conversation. It has been very inspiring so far and it goes without saying I do hope it continues!
Would've been helpful if you had let us know that you had put it in "plain-script" below before I'd spent 30-45 seconds trying to decipher two or three of your hastily scribbled words! Reminded me how old I am now and that I should definitely get a granny chain for my readers.. (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻
Bumping goo Hahahha. Oh my, I Love it 💕 Love that is …but who doesn’t love bumping goo !?! 🙊🙈🙉
Love is important in life, that’s for sure. If we are lucky we find and have… or had, true love. Of course it really sucks when your heart is broken …but it’s human to feel and it’s all a part of it... all the feels all the stages and phases.
What’s amazing is that there are some animals who choose one mate for life. It’s sad to me when someone cannot have empathy or feel emotions. There is so much we do not know about “others” and why some act the way they do, or the unique chemical make up of their brain! All the feels are so important to humans. The psychology and complexities of it all is overwhelming and so interesting. Sometimes, others actions and words leave us mad, feeling empty, or the opposite.
To the point about social media and technology… I defer to Shay’s comment here. It is spot on!!! As a 44 year old woman, I am so glad I did not grow up with an iPhone in my hand and face. I do not have social media. I have LinkedIn for work and that’s about it. I am SO appreciative for this forum and connection. This is it!!! I feel more connected than ever in this time to those at a distance and for that, I am grateful.
We all have a story and we all feel, need, want, connect and survive in this life differently for various reasons. All the ups, downs and in between. Life is messy, so is love. If you have ever loved and lost at least you had it because some do not.
I was cleaning up a newly remodeled room in my home and setting all my books on shelves in my “home office”. I couldn’t even put “So the Echo” on the shelf. It needs to be properly displayed mostly because you signed it and personalized it for me with hearts 😻(so dreamy haha) when I met you at Barnes n Noble in NYC 💕. I was so much in la la land I think I managed six words when you put your arm around me for a picture. “Thank you for sharing your gifts” I brought this book upstairs to my living room today and was browsing through it again in between my Zoom meetings today!
I love this entry… I remember flying over the Switzerland and how it just seemed like a dream looking out the window.
Life is full of memories and love is a big part of them, goo and all! Thanks Brandon!
Thank you for the plain-script Brandon ♡ I own your books & I did have a little trouble with reading your handwriting, however, I adore reading your handwritten words. You are my favorite storyteller in all forms of expression ♥ ps: I love coffee too! 😉❤✌❤ Love and Light B

Love. Without it, everything seems empty, bleak and rather pointless.
Love.
I remember the first time I experienced the overwhelming outpouring of Love.
I was standing in a mall food court, it was very crowded and I began to see everyone as if they were children, not like actual children, but they used to be a child. They’ve learned to pick out what they want to wear and have chosen to be at the food court to pick something to eat. They are someone’s beautiful and precious child, who are all likely struggling with some kind of problem. My heart was so full of Love for everyone, tears just flowed from my eyes, I’m sure I looked weird, but 🤷🏻♀️ That was my first realization of Love.

I patiently read your handwriting B, and I didn't see the post below...my fault 😅😁
Love is All.❤️
I enjoy the way you’ve capitalized the word Love.
