Listening to you read was such a perfect way for me to begin my day. I couldn't help but notice how you channeled the personalities of the characters through your voice, and that really brought the story to life. The Tibetan sound bowls (I think?) at both the beginning and the ending were also so lovely. Both your singing voice and your speaking/reading voice are captivating like no other. And soothing, I should mention as well. I'll definitely be listening to it again sometime.

I know I probably say this a lot but I truly mean it every time: thank you so much for sharing this with us. Your art, in all its forms, brings joy and inspiration to myself and so many other people. I hope you are having a beautiful day and enjoying the arrival of summer. Still excitedly counting down the days until it's time to rock out in Ridgefield...hugs and love from Washington (^-^)

Thank you for this delightful experience of your short story! ❤️ Brandon, you have such a lovely speaking voice. I love listening to audio books and I think you should narrate some books! ☺️ One of your many gifts is clearly your voice, both through spoken form and singing. Thank you again. 🙏🏼

Enjoyed this, Brandon. The way you described the scenes, both with the characters’ internal voices/thoughts along with the very specific and detailed scenes physically. Was definitely nice to have this soothing intro to my work-from-home day. Thank you for sharing!

Sweet story.

I am a hoarder (of useless information) in my brain for sure. Sigh.

Blessed are the forgetful, for they get the better even of their blunders.

I feel like cat man (Mateo) is modeled a little bit after you perhaps? His mom’s words in the last minute or two are wonderful.

I could totally see the descriptive feral Spanish cat colony especially the one eyed creamsicle kitty with clean white boots.

Constructive feedback? Work on deeper character development. Just kidding with you. ;)

Would you consider doing a meditation audio with the Tibetan singing bowls? Your voice is calming. If not, more story reading please! I loved this.

Wholeheartedly enjoyed this. Took my mind off the actual space that I’m in (even if only for a few minutes, I’m appreciative and grateful for the escape). You have a voice that magically transports👏🏽🛸👏🏽👽

I listened to this with my 9 year old kiddo who found the story absolutely fascinating. She said that she felt she could relate to Mateo's memory super power as both a blessing and a curse. My 9 yo said this. I was mind-blown but then it made perfect sense. Both of us would love to continue to hear your stories. They're so well told and beautifully narrated. Thank you for sharing with us!
