This is indeed a game of firsts on this trip through Europe. I say that as we are enjoying a moment of rest in Zagreb, Croatia. This is our first time in this country and tomorrow we are performing here. All of us could not be more excited to make music in this far away place, not only because making music is (likely) collectively our favorite thing to do, but also because it’s always a trip to get that feeling that you are starting with a clean slate somewhere. And having been on the road with Incubus since 1996, it isn’t always the case that we find ourselves with such a gilded opportunity! There’s that, then there is the fact that we have our new friend Nicole Row playing bass with us this year. We are at (about?) show number 10 and this girl is really forcing us to up our game merely by her unique skill-set and her infectious enthusiasm. It’s been a real pleasure to make music with her and under the circumstances I am not sure we could have asked for anything more. Thank you Nicole!
We actually played a show for the first time last night in Krakow, Poland. We’d visited Warsaw while playing with our pals in the band Muse in 2015 (?) and it was a blast but hadn’t had the chance to return to Poland since. So last night we got to get a taste of that delicious newness I was describing above in that there were likely a majority of people in attendance who had never come out to sing out loud with us in real life. It was in this great, compact gig called Klub Studio with an amazing sound system and we filled the room with what appeared to be a mutual appreciation thick enough to leave a residue. Thank you all who came out last night for that, we hope to come back to Poland sooner than later. Wanna see some shots from last night? My old pal Shawn Hanna has been traveling with us and stealing moments with his cameras that I’ll likely show my grandkids one day.
Are any of you reading this coming out to any shows in Europe or the UK? We’re having a special kind of fun given these unusual circumstances and it sort of goes without saying but… you’re invited.
We haven’t had much time off in the last month so my notes to you here have been infrequent, as I am sure you’ve noticed. I’ll pop on as much as time allows and send you guys little notes and such as we continue our adventure across this gorgeous landmass. Sending lots of love and warm embraces from Croatia!

P.S., here are some other fun captures from the last week of shows-
It brings me endless joy to see you guys perform and love what you do *one single happy tear drops*. Love that car pic hahaha!! Enjoy 🤍 can’t wait to read and see more from you!!
It looks like you guys are having such a fun and amazing time as you make your way through Europe, and that's so lovely to see. The places you're visiting have such fascinating cultures and histories, and from what I have noticed in Shawn's pictures and all the videos... AMAZING crowds! One of my very good friends, Johan (I'm sure you've seen his posts, his Instagram handle is incubuscollector) is going to see you when you stop in the Netherlands, and he splurged on meet and greet passes too! This is the first time he'll be seeing you again in 10 years, so he's excited and of course I'm incredibly happy for him.
Nicole absolutely shreds it on bass, I love her energy and she's incredibly talented! I'm sure that Ben feels very grateful and proud of her as she steps up while he's recovering. I was surprised to learn that she's the bassist from Panic! At the Disco because PATD happens to be my younger sister's favorite band 😅 funny how our favorite musicians happen to cross paths like that!
I seriously can't wait until July when I get to see you in Montana. It's been a crazy few months for me and I am so, SO ready to rock out with you, the guys, and my Incufam again.
Have an awesome time in Croatia 😼 as always, sending hugs from Washington! 🫶
